Kjellberg portfolio for automated plasma cutting up to 160 mm

Being the oldest manufacturer of plasma cutting technique in the market, the German manufacturer
Kjellberg offers its customers plasma cutting technique for the most diverse tasks up to 160 mm
material thickness – made in Germany- Plasma power sources used on 2D or 3D guiding systems, i-e.
cutting tables, pipe cutting machines or robots, allow precise, laser-like and fast plasma cutting-
Typical application areas are the metalworking industry and steel ser,/ice centres, plant and container
construction or the automotive industry. Kjellberg’s portfolio for automated plasma cutting includes the
following products:

  • The power sources of the HiFocus series offer perfect cutting quality for highest demands up to 160 material thickness and can be used in connection with all common CNC guiding systems, pipe cutting machines or robots, also for bevel cutting or underwater plasma cutting.

  • The innovative Q series made by Kjellberg combines precise plasma cutting at an extraordinary level with the requirements of digitalised production. With the browser-based user interface Q-Desk, real-time process data and information can be analysed, monitored and controlled on all devices. In order to be able to react flexibly to future requirements, the cutting performance of the plasma cutting systems can be increased by easy-to-mount upgrade kits.

  • With just a few settings the compact plasma cutting units of the Smart Focus series achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm – even under most challenging conditions. The Smart Focus units can also be used for marking, bevel and underwater cutting.

  • With the latest plasma cutting system K 200, the user focus on the essentials of plasma cutting: optimal and reliable cutting quality with easy operation at lowest costs. The plasma power source cuts with oxygen, air and nitrogen in the material thickness range from 1 up to 60 mm with a maximum cutting current of 200 A. In addition, the K 200 has a marking function. It has integrated automatic gas control and a torch with direct connection. A manual torch extends the range of application to manual cutting and gouging. The K 200 can be fully integrated into CNC guidance systems or controlled and monitored via smartphone. The accompanying app also allows the user to see all parameters and settings at a glance and customise cutting data.
