A heavy structural fabrication yard requires a qualified welding inspector for in-process and final inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Witness welder qualification tests and maintain welder performance records.
  • Carry out in-process and final visual inspection to the project specification.
  • Coordinate RT, UT and MPI with the NDT subcontractor and review reports.
  • Raise and close non-conformance reports with the fabrication team.

Requirements:

  • CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent, valid and in date.
  • Minimum 7 years in structural or pressure equipment fabrication.
  • Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
