Certified 6G pipe welders are required for a scheduled shutdown on carbon steel and stainless steel process piping.
Responsibilities:
- Root, hot pass and fill/cap on 6G pipe joints to the applicable WPS.
- Work to isometric drawings and joint fit-up tolerances.
- Follow all permit-to-work and confined space procedures on site.
Requirements:
- Valid 6G qualification in GTAW and SMAW.
- Minimum 5 years of process piping experience.
- Prior shutdown or turnaround experience preferred.
