Lincoln Tech expands welding training to Indiana
Lincoln Educational Services Corp. will introduce a new welding and metal fabrication training program this spring in Indianapolis. The campus will be the fifth Lincoln Tech school in the U.S. to provide training for welding careers. In the new program, students will practice GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW. The curriculum also includes an OSHA-approved safety course. Upon completion students are eligible to receive Level One credentials from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). The first class for the training program in Indianapolis is scheduled for June 25, 2018. Lincoln Tech also has been approved to begin offering welding training later in 2018 at its campuses in South Plainfield, N.J., and Columbia, Md. These locations join Lincoln’s campuses in Denver; East Windsor, Conn.; Grand Prairie, Texas; and Nashville in offering welding career training.
